La Fortuna --> Manuel Antonio
Andrew and I packed up our stuff and were ready to say goodbye to Arenal and couldn't wait to see the beach!!
Arenal Star, the transportation company, came and picked us up! Fernando unfortunately was not our driver, but we did see him later that afternoon! The driver found out that it was our honeymoon so he immediately changed the radio station to really sappy love songs from the US in the 60s and 70s!!!
It was about a 5-6 hour trip - that we wished we had just flown! There is a little airport in each of the town/cities but our huge suitcase probably would have weighed too much!!
This is Andrew loving the Rumbas!!!
We stopped at this one touristy trap place and bought some souvenirs. They had these beautiful gardens and we took these pictures!
There was a little greenhouse in that area where you could go inside and look at a Toucan. He flew down and was walking around. He walked right up to Andrew and pecked him in the foot with his beak!!! Unfortunately, you can't see it in the video below but you can hear him!!
We stopped and walked across this bridge where American Crocodiles lived under! It was really neat to see so many of them so "close" !!
Our bungalow was incredible!!!!! I screamed when I walked in! Every wall was a window and we had the BEST view of the water!!!
We went to dinner the first night at the Tule Cafe! I had that day caught Talapia! YUM!!
