July 8, 2009 Ecotermales - Hot Springs!

One of our dinners that was built into our honeymoon was a dinner at one of the natural Hot Springs Restaurants called Ecotermales. It is not a super touristy restaurant and hot springs and it's very close to the foot of the volcano.
Sandy, (Journey Weavers) told me that they only allow a certain amount of people to make reservations at a time, so the pools don't get over crowded.
We went into all 5 of the "pools" with the one at the bottom, naturally being the most luke warm. The one at the top was almost boiling!!! They had to have a sprinkler of cold water flooding in!!!!
There was a bar at the top that made really good margaritas!! Good lord! Having one drink in there was crazy!!!
About every 15 minutes we would have to cool down in the cold shower/pool area. They actually warned us that if we didn't it would have negative effects on us!
There was a little locker room area - I went into change and got stuck in there!!!! I didn't say anything but was pulling on my door. Some woman from Texas (!) came over and helped me get out of there! Thank god she was there!!!!
We ate a delicious dinner here too!! I had Talapia! As I walked out of the dining area, I saw the fountain where they kept them!! AHH! See below!
