July 13, 2009 Catamaran
Well, after we got stood up at the mountain biking place, we decided at the last minute to take our business else where!!!
We decided to do a Catamaran tour!!! It was an 1/2 day adventure with pick up at 8:30 am, open bar, snorkeling, swimming, gourmet meal, and dolphins!!!
This was the boat we were on!!!

We set out, with about 25 other people from the US and enjoyed the scenery! It was beautiful. As we were being told that we would see many dolphins, the captain quickly jumped up and pointed out something in the water that was a few yards ahead of us!!
It was a wounded crocodile!!!
We kept going and were able to spot many dolphins!!!
We sailed on for a little longer, and they gave us face masks and snorkels. We all jumped out and swam over to the coral! Accompanied with the WICKED swimmers' ear that I had, (we had to go to the Farmacia for medicine!) and the fact that I ABHOR multiple things in one space, like schools of fish!!!
We swam over to the coral and AHHH, I looked down and there were so many fish that I freaked out and made Andrew swim me back to the boat!!
I, Andrew, saw a whole coral reef community- it's not really coral though, it's volcanic reef instead. There were schools of fish, like the black and yellow triangular fish that "wigged Kristen out". To get down to the bottom of 'reefville', I removed my snorkel, let out some air from my lungs and plunged down. I mostly chased some puffer fish around, trying to make them blow up. They kept their cool, however, and had me going pretty deep. There were tons of little fish and it was easy to clear the snorkel when I just wanted to look at it all. I was in for about 40 minutes without even realizing it.
We got back and had one of the best fish ever!! It was delicious!!!! Our Catamaran came to and end we went back to the beach!!!!
We went back to the beach and had a very low key rest of our day!!! :)
